Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location. You will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and outstanding customer service. You will document activity, assist with access control and/or incident reporting, and support a caring team that acts with integrity, stays agile, and delivers through teamwork.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and control access for employees, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate parties and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete shift activity logs and incident reports, and communicate security-related observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
