As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and help to identify and report security-related concerns. You will support access control and badging, greet and assist staff and visitors, and communicate clearly with site contacts. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology and data-focused location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to appropriate contacts per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, data center corridors, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas during patrols, verify visitor and vendor authorization when encountered, and direct individuals to proper check-in procedures.
• Complete security-related reports and patrol documentation, note hazards and maintenance concerns, and report issues through established communication channels.
