About The Position

Responsible for managing data lifecycle processes from collection to reporting, ensuring compliance with privacy laws, and supporting Bureau/Department objectives through accurate and insightful data analysis. Ensure accuracy/integrity of data and applications through analysis, writing documentation, and problem resolution. Manage data, analysis, and report requests from Bureau/Department staff on various relevant subject matter. Establish and maintain Department/Bureau KPI's. Provide data collection, standardization, and analysis support across the Bureau/Department in coordination with countywide systems and standards.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher is required, AND
  • Four (4) years of data analysis or directly related experience is required, OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.
  • Ability to work independently and provide guidance to staff, addressing analytical and technical challenges.
  • Skill in executing advanced data collection, synthesis, analysis, reporting, and development ofrecommendations to support functional area(s), where analysis is based on diverse or non-standard problems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members, mid-level leadership, and potentially senior leaders to drive accuracy and precision in analysis.
  • Knowledge of diverse analytical practices to independently perform moderate to complex studies and continually adapt new methods.
  • Skill utilizing data to affect process improvements with measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to draft reports, presentations, and/or visualizations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
