About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Facilities Planner/Scheduler to support a Corporate Services account in Rahway, NJ. This role leads a team of multi-craft maintenance planners to deliver reliable, efficient, and execution-ready maintenance plans. You will ensure alignment between planning strategies and operational priorities to drive schedule accuracy, equipment reliability, and minimal downtime. By fostering accountability, clarity, and continuous improvement, you will empower planners to perform at a high level. The role champions data-driven decision-making, proactive communication, and cross-functional collaboration. Through coaching and development, you will elevate team capability, planning rigor, and overall maintenance performance.

Requirements

• A Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems across industrial and commercial environments
• Proven experience planning maintenance in laboratory, utilities, and facilities settings
• Proficiency in CMMS systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
• Ability to collaborate across all organizational levels, including contractors, engineers, and leadership
• Experience working in union environments and leading meetings in professional settings
• 5–7+ years in facilities/maintenance operations, including pharmaceutical or regulated environments, with planning and scheduling expertise
• Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience – 5 yearsMinimum Functional Experience – 5 years

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of multi-craft maintenance planners to ensure high-quality, execution-ready work plans
• Drive weekly scheduling alignment across 10 craft areas to improve schedule compliance and workforce utilization
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance planning, ensuring resource, material, and priority alignment
• Monitor planner KPIs, manpower, and Tier metrics to enhance forecasting and optimize resource allocation
• Ensure regulatory and GMP work order compliance with proactive tracking and risk mitigation
• Deliver detailed job plans and schedules that reduce downtime, improve wrench time, and support asset reliability
