About this role: The Technology Portfolio Manager (TPM) is responsible for end‑to‑end oversight of a portfolio of technology investments, ensuring alignment to business strategy, risk posture, financial discipline, and delivery outcomes. This role provides portfolio‑level transparency, drives prioritization and trade‑off decisions, and partners with senior leaders to optimize value delivery across products, programs, and platforms. COO Technology group provides technology services for the Chief Operating Office. This includes operations, control executives, strategic execution, business continuity and resiliency, data solutions and services, regulatory relations, customer experience, enterprise shared services, supply chain management, and the corporate properties group. TCOO provides technology solutions and manages application portfolios for these groups to support modernization and optimization. In this role you will: Portfolio Strategy & Governance Own and maintain the technology portfolio view, including demand intake, prioritization, sequencing, and investment alignment. Partner with business and technology leaders to align initiatives to strategic objectives, regulatory commitments, and enterprise priorities. Support portfolio‑level governance forums by providing decision-ready insights, trade-off analysis, and scenario options. Financial & Capacity Management Partner with finance, product, and delivery leaders to manage portfolio funding, forecasts, and cost transparency. Track and communicate investment health, including spend vs. plan, benefits realization, and capacity utilization. Identify opportunities to optimize spend, reduce duplication, and reallocate capacity to higher‑value work. Delivery & Execution Oversight Provide portfolio‑level visibility into delivery status, dependencies, risks, and milestones. Proactively identify and escalate cross‑initiative risks, constraints, and interdependencies. Stakeholder Partnership Serve as a trusted advisor to senior technology and business leaders. Translate complex portfolio data into clear, executive-level insights and recommendations. Foster strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Finance, Risk, and Operations. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
