The Senior Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the procurement of (GMP) materials and consumables for the manufacturing of regenerative medicines. The role is part of the Bioengineered Organ Operations team. Lead procurement activities for manufacturing and laboratory materials, consumables, and services, ensuring continuity of supply and alignment with operational needs Submit and manage purchase order (PO) requisitions in SAP and Winshuttle, including PO creation, tracking, and closure Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, communicating order status, backorders, shipment details, and delivery updates to manufacturing teams Proactively follow up on backordered or discontinued materials, identify alternate products or suppliers, and evaluate more cost-effective purchasing options where appropriate Manage purchase orders, including standing POs and blanket purchase orders, and maintain vendor delivery schedules Collaborate with manufacturing, laboratory, and supply chain teams to maintain master inventory lists, material records, and related documentation Monitor inventory levels and support forecasting of future procurement needs by running consumption, inventory, and spend reports in SAP Perform financial analysis of procurement expenditures, including tracking spend, monitoring open PO balances, and supporting budget visibility Source GMP-grade materials and coordinate with vendors to obtain and maintain required documentation (e.g., Certificates of Analysis, Certificates of Origin, ISO certifications, etc.) Set up new material and product information in SAP, and update existing material master records as required Contact vendors to request price quotations, negotiate pricing or discounts, and obtain required documentation Submit new vendor credit applications to Accounts Payable for review and approval, and coordinate new vendor setup in Winshuttle/SAP Submit contracts, quotes, and related documentation to the outsourcing team for processing; maintain contract trackers and archive executed agreements, POs, and vendor files in designated repositories Ensure procurement activities comply with GMP, quality, and internal procurement policies May handle human tissue, cells, and/or materials that come into contact with human cells and may carry infectious agents, in accordance with applicable safety and biosafety procedures
