The Construction Senior Project Engineer - SIS provides technical, administrative, and managerial/ field support to Project Managers and Field Managers. The position typically works under direct supervision, performs routine daily activities, and gathers and distributes information. The Project Engineer must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.
Requirements
- 3+ Years experience working within a project team contributing to coordination, development, and/or tracking of various project needs such as RFIs, submittals, pay applications, document control, project reporting, cost events, schedule updates and close out activities.
- 3+ Years experience reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings. Ability to outline specifications required for submission to the client along with ensuring construction materials, equipment, and field installations match the approved submittals.
- 3+ Years of experience in the construction of Commercial building projects (internship experience may be acceptable) with a general contractor/construction management firm.
- Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent and 1+ years of industry experience /or equivalent industry experience (3 years).
