About The Position

Healthfirst is in need of a Senior Salesforce Developer. Partial telecommuting permitted; role requires onsite work at 100 Church Street, New York, NY multiple days per week. (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) Duties & Responsibilities: Analyze, design, implement customized software applications. Design, develop, and maintain complex applications. Develop unit tests and provide code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality. Participate in developing specifications, including user stories and designs. Solve and recommend solutions for complex issues and problems. Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications. Document designs, issues, solutions, tips and tricks. Foster a team approach to software development and delivery. Stay current in new IT technologies to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Salesforce Developer related occupation.
  • Position also requires five (5) years of experience in the each of the following: Design of systems architecture and ability to deliver solutions for enterprise-grade customers using Salesforce product suite
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying custom solutions using Salesforce Lightning, APEX, VisualForce, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Experience configuring, customizing, and implementing Field Service Lightning to support scheduling, service appointments, and mobile workforce management.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing Sales Cloud and Community Cloud solutions to support business processes, user engagement, and customer/partner portals
  • Experience designing and enforcing role hierarchies, sharing rules, profiles, and permission sets to meet security and data visibility requirements
  • Experience building and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, including authentication and error handling
  • experience managing environments, applying version control best practices, and executing deployments using tools and methodologies like Git, CI/CD, and Salesforce DevOps processes.
