About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity to join L3Harris team as a Sr Specialist, Program Financial Analyst. Duties of the job include: Essential Functions: Program Financial Management: Full lifecycle financial management support including forecasting, Earned Value (EV) management, and invoice oversight Responsible for comprehensive financial forecasting, including FP&A metrics for program performance Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and variance analysis to financial plans, including profitability and cash flow Ensure EAC (Estimate at Completion) accuracy for all assigned efforts Earned Value Management (EVM): Maintain Earned Value Management data integrity using Cobra and SAP toolsets Create and maintain program baseline budgets for performance measurement Prepare and review Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) deliverables (Formats 1-5, 7) Create and review variance reports with CAM (Control Account Manager) input System and Process Management: Make substantial improvements to financial systems and processes Contribute to achieving departmental goals and impacting departmental results positively Proposal Support: Prepare complex proposal cost estimates and pricing data Provide support for internal and external audits for assigned programs Communication and Leadership: Communicate within and outside the function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures Perform work with minimal supervision and mentor junior team members Ad Hoc Analysis and Reporting: Create ad hoc analysis as needed Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related analytical field and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience with COBRA and SAP
  • 6-10 year’s experience in Microsoft Office applications with strong proficiency, specifically Excel
  • Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and processes
  • Experience with financial management, risk management, cost estimating, and change management
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance which requires US citizenship
  • Familiarity with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), ANSI-748-D, EVMIG, and NDIA Intent Guides
  • Understanding and experience with various contract types such as CPAF, CPFF, T&M, and FFP

  • Experience managing the financials for a highly visible program.
  • Advanced knowledge of government contracts, funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • Certifications such as PMP, EVMP, or similar are preferred.
