The Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating, verifying, and processing outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of materials and products. This role supports internal departments and external customers by preparing shipping documentation, arranging carrier services, maintaining shipment records, and ensuring materials are packaged and labeled according to company and regulatory standards. Qualifications Requisites Reports directly to the Department Lead. Regular, full-time position requiring a minimum in-office schedule of 40 hours per week; occasional travel may be required. Confidentiality, integrity, dependability, organization, attention to detail, continuous training, and cooperation. Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation. Observe and comply with American Vulkan Corporation’s (AVC) rules and regulations. Must agree to (and pass) a background check, physical, and drug screening testing. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience with Dangerous Goods and International Transportation preferred.
