About The Position

This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the shipping and logistics operations of the organization. This position will also ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and manage the shipping process, including collaborating with internal teams, freight carriers, and other stakeholders to optimize shipping efficiency and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education.
• 1+ years of experience in shipping and logistics coordination
• Solid understanding of shipping processes, logistics operations, and related documentation.
• Familiarity with shipping software and systems for tracking and managing shipments.

Responsibilities

• Work with the internal departments to develop, test, and implement global logistics systems.
• Consider all shipment options to ensure “on time” shipment of all emergency orders outside of normal carrier pickup times.
• Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers while adhering to shipping guidelines and requirements.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with freight carriers to arrange pick-up and delivery schedules, track shipments, and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure the availability of products for shipping.
• Other duties as assigned.
