About The Position

The Shipping Specialist supports the daily activities of Warner Pacific’s Shipping and Fulfillment operations. This position plays a key role in preparing, processing, and distributing sales, and marketing materials requested by Sales Consultants and brokers. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory of shipping supplies, coordinating shipments with external vendors, and ensuring an organized, fully stocked facility.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in clerical, fulfillment, or shipping environments preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks such as standing, reaching, bending, and filing.
  • Proficiency in office technology including email, basic Microsoft Office tools and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work on-site, Monday through Friday, and overtime as needed (including weekends or holidays).
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Print, package, and email sales and marketing materials for internal and external customers.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of shipping and supply items.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and shipments; unpack and route materials appropriately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage, copy, and kitchen areas.
  • Stock copiers and kitchen areas regularly; reorder supplies as needed.
  • Serve as backup for other operational tasks and cross-train as needed.
  • Perform additional duties or participate in department projects as assigned.
  • Respond to requests from Sales Consultants and brokers via phone and email within defined service standards.
  • Coordinate with external shipping vendors and delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
  • Maintain professional, responsive communication with internal teams and external partners.
  • Work closely with the Operations Supervisor/Manager and other team members to meet departmental needs
  • Provide backup support in other areas as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Select appropriate shipment methods based on knowledge of shipping procedures, rates, and timelines.
  • Ensure inventory levels of shipping and printed materials are adequate and reorder when necessary.
  • Coordinate restocking and cleanliness of shared.
  • Demonstrate strong judgment, integrity, and reliability in daily responsibilities.
  • Proactively identify and suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Embrace change with a positive attitude and support team adoption.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions and lead by example.
