About The Position

To become a Social Work Intern in Poudre School District you must complete the Social Work Intern application. This application is for placements starting in fall 2026 . To be considered for a Social Work intern placement in one of our schools, you should: be entering your final semester/year of a Social Work program be able to pass a criminal background check, including submitting a complete set of fingerprints with the Colorado Department of Education/PSD be enrolled in a college/university that has a signed internship agreement with PSD (see below) Placements will be completed with the following criteria: availability of qualified staff/social workers in requested areas willingness of schools/staff to take an intern outcome of internship interview between principal, lead/supervisor, and prospective intern Current Social Work University Partners: Capella University Colorado State University University of Northern Colorado Walden University If your university is not listed or you have any questions regarding the intern placement process, please contact the Talent Team at [e-mail].
