Location: Atlanta, GA | Department: Sales Strategy & Capabilities Center of Excellence We’re seeking a sales-focused strategist who can transform commercial priorities into compelling narratives and customer-ready assets. The Sr. Manager, Sales Narrative & Strategy is a strategic, design-led storyteller responsible for shaping how Newell Brands shows up with its most important retail partners. This role translates enterprise strategy, innovation pipelines, and go-to-market priorities into clear, persuasive sales narratives that influence decisions, accelerate sell-in, and elevate brand perception. Sitting within the Nexus team, this is a hands-on role at the intersection of Sales, Marketing, Innovation, and Design. You will help develop sales-facing narrative frameworks and ensure consistent, high-impact storytelling across presentations, immersive experiences, and selling assets. Scope & Impact Portfolio-wide influence across Newell Brands’ iconic brand lineup Ownership of storytelling for priority retailer engagements and top 20 customers Executive-facing work supporting senior sales leadership objectives and narrative Strategic contribution to standards and customer experience storytelling What You’ll Do As part of the Nexus team, you will work closely with the team leader to bring strategic retailer meetings to life based on sales leadership objectives. Your influence will span across our book of business, with opportunities to collaborate closely with cross-functional partners. You’ll also travel periodically to New Jersey, including visits to our Hoboken office overlooking NYC.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in sales enablement, strategic communications, marketing design, or storytelling-focused roles
  • Proven ability to translate complex business strategies into clear, persuasive narratives and visuals
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across functions
  • Comfort and curiosity using AI-driven design and productivity tools
  • Experience in CPG and/or retail sales environment experience
  • Storytelling ability + attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
  • Portfolio required demonstrating executive-ready presentations, narrative frameworks, and design craft across multiple formats
  • Expertise in presentation design and visual storytelling, with mastery of PowerPoint (layout systems, master slides, data visualization, and executive-level polish)
  • Comfortable leveraging AI-driven design and productivity tools to accelerate ideation, iteration, and creative workflows
  • Strong understanding of brand systems, typography, color, hierarchy, and layout principles across digital, presentation, and physical environments

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the development of sales-facing narrative frameworks that translate enterprise strategy and brand vision into persuasive customer stories
  • Provide recommendations to evolve storytelling approaches for retailer sell-in, innovation engagements, and executive customer meetings
  • Enable alignment and consistency of messaging, visual design, and narrative flow across priority customer-facing materials
  • Lead the creation of high-impact, executive-ready presentations and sales collateral across formats including PowerPoint, video, digital assets, and physical spaces
  • Translate complex strategies, data, and innovation concepts into simple, compelling visuals and story arcs
  • Apply and reinforce design standards to ensure materials meet brand, quality, and storytelling expectations across brands and channels
  • Partner with the Nexus leader to bring strategic retailer meetings to life across presentations and the Customer Experience Center (CEC) showroom
  • Provide storytelling guidance to continuously evolve the CEC experience—ensuring it surprises, delights, and supports commercial outcomes
  • Support innovation engagements by shaping how future-forward ideas are presented and experienced by retail partners
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Innovation, Category, and Insights teams to refine messaging and align narratives to leadership objectives
  • Own project intake, timelines, prioritization, and creative direction for assigned initiatives
  • Present direction, narrative rationale, and execution plans to stakeholders and senior leaders
  • Leverage agentic AI tools to accelerate ideation, streamline workflows, and enhance creative output
  • Utilize and support the evolution of enablement and content management tools to improve asset accessibility, consistency, and adoption
  • Coordinate with external agencies and freelance creative partners as needed
