Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator, Consultant, Email Specialist, and/or Developer Certification.
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, Email on Acid, and cloud pages.
  • Proficiency with SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS scripting languages to create dynamic content.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to leverage skills, knowledge, and experience to invest in our community.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the systems administrator for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment, including all configurations, users, and roles in Marketing Cloud.
  • Responsible for translating business requirements into solutions leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud's functionality and best practices.
  • Monitor the Health of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform and implement updates aligned with Salesforce's release cycles and capabilities.
  • Responsible for new or existing Marketing Cloud data sets with appropriate rules and setting up data extensions or email journeys, working closely with the data and integrations teams to accomplish this.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams for integrations, workflows, and solutions.
  • This position involves a mix of ad-hoc response management, where you will be required to address immediate issues or requests that may arise unexpectedly and champion innovative Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
  • Work closely with the Credit Union Marketing Cloud Product Management and other Credit Union cross-functional teams, such as Marketing and Compliance, to create email journeys that integrate the marketing design and messages provided through design tools like Figma and deliver personalized member experiences or journeys.
  • Research integration issues and work closely with team members on the development and function of various integrations.
  • Ensure quality testing and delivery of messages to intended audiences using email testing tools like Email on Acid.
  • Proactively research and make recommendations regarding new features and enhancements to the platform made available with each Salesforce Marketing Cloud Release.
  • Monitor and make recommendations on email send deliverability and optimize campaign performance using SFMC analytics.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Monitor changes or problems in SFMC and communicate any impact to the credit union and team members.
  • Integrate with other data sources outside of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to provide greater personalization and possibilities.
  • Evaluate and recommend adoption strategies for emerging Salesforce features such as Data Cloud (formerly Salesforce CDP) and Agentforce to enhance member engagement.
  • Develop and leverage external networks for best practice sharing.
  • Cross-train and mentor the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer so they can back up this position when necessary.
  • Cross-train to serve as a backup to the Salesforce CRM Administrator when necessary for essential functions.
  • Actively contribute to various teams’ work while simultaneously taking the initiative to lead, mentor, and guide colleagues independently.
  • Develop and leverage external networks for best practice sharing.
  • Continue to develop knowledge of industry practices, products, and professional growth.
  • Participate in appropriate learning opportunities and certifications to maintain expertise.
