We’re currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join our Finance Team . In this role, you will assist with the monthly close process and maintain financial processes to ensure SOX compliance and will support external reporting requirements, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference. The work requires knowledge of financial reporting and processes in a business environment including theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline, typically obtained through equivalent work experience in operational/process-based work / activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries for consolidation to Group, including assisting in variance analysis and maintaining GL accuracy
  • AR invoice generation and accounting treatment for revenue, submissions to customers and collections
  • Analyze accounts payable transactions for accuracy and proper classification (includes prepaids, GRIR, corporate credit card, etc.)
  • Review of Travel Expense reports and processing for reimbursement
  • Review general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries (includes leases)
  • Analysis and posting of monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals
  • Responsible for preparation and reconciling of audit deliverables to be reviewed, sample support and respond to standard audit queries escalating where needed. Supporting wider audit deliverables as needed.
  • Active participation in site and finance projects as needed
