The Stakeholder Relations Team As the primary liaison between SPP and external stakeholders, the Stakeholder Relations Team is dedicated to fostering and nurturing mutually beneficial relationships that support SPP’s essential functions. This department excels in facilitation, coordination, organization, issue resolution, and planning while proactively managing customer and stakeholder relationships. Through targeted communication and collaboration with customers, market participants, and other stakeholders, the team helps ensure strong engagement and alignment with SPP initiatives. Job Overview The Stakeholder Business Partner (Account Manager) serves as a primary relationship manager for a portfolio of Southwest Power Pool (SPP) stakeholders, including Integrated Marketplace and Market participants, transmission customers, transmission owners, meter agents, members, and other key partners. This role focuses on building strong relationships across assigned stakeholder accounts, gaining a deep understanding of evolving business needs, and supporting alignment with SPP initiatives, programs, and priorities. Working closely with internal teams and subject matter experts, the Stakeholder Business Partner (Account Manager) helps coordinate solutions, facilitate effective communication, and support initiatives that enhance stakeholder engagement and satisfaction. This role represents stakeholder perspectives across enterprise initiatives and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholder needs are incorporated into planning, projects, and decision-making. The position operates in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and requires strong relationship management, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to develop a broad understanding of SPP operations and the electric utility industry.
