As we expand and evolve, we are seeking a dedicated Summer Legal Intern to join our legal team and contribute to our ongoing success. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Legal Intern to support our Legal Team in organizing and maintaining our company’s contract and legal records. The role will assist with collecting, reviewing and organizing company contracts and helping maintain comprehensive, searchable databases of those agreements. The intern will also support with general litigation matters, including conducting basic legal research, assisting with drafting legal correspondence and performing other tasks to support the Legal Team and various departments across the company. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational and analytical skills, who is comfortable working independently and possesses proficiency in Excel.

Requirements

  • Must be a current undergraduate student
  • Prior legal experience is not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organziational skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach as needed.
  • Ability to lift or move objects up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies).
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Visual acuity to read printed materials, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
  • Hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in virtual meetings.
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Ability to work a standard schedule, with occasional extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the company’s contract repository and assist in other matters related to contract data management.
  • Assist in creating, managing and auditing departmental tracking systems to capture data and generate reports reflecting key findings and trends.
  • Conduct basic legal research, assist with fact-findings in collection with legal matters, and prepare written summaries of research and findings for the Legal Team.
  • Assist with drafting legal correspondence, timelines, standard operating procedures other materials as needed.
