Read more about this 2026 internship opportunity below. PIM Brands, Inc. is seeking bright, eager interns for our Legal Department. We are looking for a Summer Legal Intern interested in starting a career at our Park Ridge location.
Requirements
- Current Law student pursuing a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at an accredited law school.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
- Strong business acumen and analytical ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and bias for action
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Demonstrated personal and professional values
- An interest in IP, corporate, and/or employment law.
- Excellent analytical, communication, diplomatic, legal research and writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Have access to local housing and reliable transportation
- Be able to work during our 10 week summer program, which is a 40-hour week, beginning June 1st, 2026 through at least August 7th 2026
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of and passion for the specific business you are interested in at PIM Brands
- Strong passion for and knowledge of the Food and CPG industry
- Leadership experience on or off campus
Responsibilities
- Reviewing Non-Disclosure Agreements and other similar documents to protect the confidentiality of the company’s proprietary information.
- Assisting in-house legal team with review of marketing materials and social media postings.
- Assisting with trademark and copyright applications and enforcement of the company’s rights to its intellectual property.
- Summarizing various legal documents, including contracts with customers and vendors.
- Working with Human Resources team on employee file audit and compliance issues.
