Barbaricum is seeking a Systems Administrator/Engineer II to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical IT infrastructure. This role will support system operations, integration, and performance optimization in complex operational environments.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
- Experience administering enterprise IT systems and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of operating systems, virtualization, and enterprise IT architecture.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving system performance issues.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting DoD or government IT systems.
- Certifications such as Security+, Network+, or similar.
- Experience supporting cloud or hybrid environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise systems and infrastructure.
- Support system integration and configuration management activities.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Implement system updates, patches, and security controls.
- Support system documentation and configuration management.
- Collaborate with network, security, and engineering teams.
