Barbaricum is seeking a Systems Administrator/Engineer II to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical IT infrastructure. This role will support system operations, integration, and performance optimization in complex operational environments.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
  • Experience administering enterprise IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, virtualization, and enterprise IT architecture.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving system performance issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD or government IT systems.
  • Certifications such as Security+, Network+, or similar.
  • Experience supporting cloud or hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain enterprise systems and infrastructure.
  • Support system integration and configuration management activities.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Implement system updates, patches, and security controls.
  • Support system documentation and configuration management.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and engineering teams.
