About The Position

This Systems/Endpoint Support Specialist will report directly to the Director of Information Technology and will plan, design, develop, and launch efficient technical solutions in support of core organizational functions and business processes. The Endpoint Management Specialist will maintain software and hardware solutions both “on premise” and in “cloud” environments to help achieve business requirements. They will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments. Also, includes end user computing support as well as service desk resolution.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience working in end user computing, and hardware/software support in a manufacturing and/or retail environment.
  • Experience working with application security administration tools, customer support.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in the networking area and in a manufacturing and/or retail environment.
  • Skilled with engineering enterprise data, voice, and video networks.
  • Able to administer Routers, Switches, Firewalls at the detailed configuration level.
  • Able to configure and secure Internet facing firewalls interfacing with external partner and company sites.
  • Experience with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management.
  • Skilled at researching, designing, and implementing wireless networks.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and diagnostic skills including resolving LAN/WAN performance, connectivity, and related problems.
  • Able to administer LAN/WAN security measures both internal and external to the network.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in the infrastructure area to include “on premise” and “cloud based” solutions in a manufacturing and/or retail environment.
  • 3-5 years’ experience managing technical systems and solutions within the infrastructure area in a manufacturing and/or retail environment.
  • Proficiency with AD, HP UX, Linux, VMware, Windows, Exchange, Active Directory Services including DNS, DHCP.
  • Proficiency with SUSE Linux, SUSE for SAP installation, troubleshooting and tuning experience.
