The position is assigned to the Business Plans & Operations (BPO) Directorate, Cost and Acquisition Assessment Group (CAAG) within the NRO, and serves as a Cost Estimating Team Analyst. The position provides input for the preparation of independent cost estimates for new and ongoing NRO space and ground major system acquisition programs and evaluates the basis of estimates for resource requirements prepared by NRO program offices. This position will interact with and may lead contractor teams in developing estimates for programs that span many directorates. This position also requires making decisions to resolve specific complex or intricate issues and problems; developing new methods and criteria; and proposing new policies and practices.
