About The Position

The Territory Manager is responsible for managing and growing sales across a defined multi-state territory. This role carries direct revenue responsibility and requires independent territory planning, pipeline management, customer development, and achievement of defined sales targets. The Territory Manager operates with greater autonomy while maintaining alignment with regional strategy.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
  • 4 years of prior sales experience
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions
  • Technical Proficiency with Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Visio, Word)
  • Proficiency in using project and task management tools (Monday.com)
  • Experience using document management systems (FileHold)
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (HubSpot)
  • The employee is required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
  • The employee must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • This position requires frequent travel via car and/or plane with overnight hotel stays.
  • Expected travel is 50%

Nice To Haves

  • Construction experience is a plus but not required
  • Presentation skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales activities across multiple states within assigned territory
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies
  • Meet or exceed defined sales and revenue targets
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
  • Independently manage sales pipeline from prospecting through close
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking in Customer Relationship Manager (CRM)
  • Ensure CRM reflects all customer interactions, pipeline stages, and projected revenue
  • Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales projections
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and end users
  • Conduct product knowledge sessions and business reviews
  • Entertain and engage clients in accordance with company guidelines
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade functions
  • Demonstrates, encourages, and enforces Trim-Tex’s values (e.g., leading by motivation and engagement, “walk the talk “)
  • Monitor market conditions, competitive activity, and pricing trends
  • Provide feedback to Regional Sales Manager on territory opportunities and risks
  • Achievement of defined revenue targets (Territory Sales Growth)
  • Healthy, measurable pipeline growth (in HubSpot)
  • Accurate forecasting and CRM discipline
  • Assigned Key Account Growth
  • Professional representation of the company at all customer touchpoints and accurate territory insight and information
