About The Position

Pirtek is the leader in on-site hydraulic hose service. When a boat lift, forklift, loader, crane, refuse truck, or production line goes down, we get customers back up fast. Our customers are maintenance teams and operators who value uptime, responsiveness, and doing the job right the first time. This is a sales-first field role with hands-on service work. You’ll run a company vehicle, respond to calls, build hoses and replace assemblies in the field, and proactively grow accounts when the schedule is light. Requirements

Based in Greater Savannah, GA or Hilton Head, SC (daily field role)
Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving field environment
Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with industrial decision-makers
Ability to handle objections, sell value, and ask for the next step
Valid driver’s license and ability to safely and lawfully operate a vehicle

Nice To Haves

Experience selling into or working around manufacturing, distribution, heavy equipment, fleet maintenance, construction, utilities, logistics/3PL, waste, or municipalities
Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience with hydraulics, hoses, fittings, equipment service, or industrial maintenance
Comfort working in “real-world” industrial environments

Responsibilities

Win and grow accounts
Prospect and acquire new accounts across the territory, working both warm and cold leads
Build relationships with maintenance managers, fleet managers, operations leaders, and plant supervisors
Increase sales by uncovering additional equipment needs, preventing repeat failures, and expanding services within existing accounts
Convert one-time emergency calls into repeat business and preferred vendor status
Represent Pirtek professionally in the community, at relevant events, and with local industry groups
Deliver excellent on-site service
Adhere to all Pirtek and industry safety standards
Perform mobile hydraulic hose assembly, replacement, and leak troubleshooting at customer sites
Identify and work with common fitting and thread types (JIC, ORB, ORFS, BSPP, DIN)
Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and accurate job documentation so invoicing is fast and correct
Stay organized and accountable
Maintain accurate records of visits, calls, wins, losses, and next steps
Keep a simple pipeline and territory plan that supports consistent daily activity
Participate in periodic meetings at the home office as needed
