About The Position

Opportunity Summary: We are seeking a detail‑oriented, highly organized professional to evaluate, plan, and coordinate all equipment and material needs for wind turbine projects. This role ensures each project is fully supported based on factors such as turbine type, project scope, construction schedule, site geography and topography, weather conditions, and other project‑specific requirements.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Equipment Coordination Assess project procurement requirements and develop comprehensive checklists outlining both standard and specialized needs. Standard needs may include turbine‑specific tools, rigging, hydraulic tools, all‑terrain lifts, RT cranes, etc. Prepare and stage job containers and tool containers for each project, ensuring all standard supplies and project-specific equipment are accounted for.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management Manage cost-effective purchasing of materials, tools, and services to support wind turbine erection projects using established national and regional supplier accounts; establish local accounts as needed. Maintain site purchasing records and verify alignment between purchase orders, deliveries, and invoices; assist with invoice approval for assigned projects. Monitor vendor performance and provide feedback to the Procurement Manager regarding delivery accuracy, competitiveness, and overall quality. Uphold high ethical standards in all interactions between the company and suppliers.
  • Field Support & Issue Resolution Respond quickly to onsite needs such as tool repairs, parts replacements, and equipment issues. Anticipate and plan for project requirements while remaining prepared to address unexpected needs in accordance with company purchasing policies and best practices.
  • Travel Travel required up to 50%.
