Requirements

  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; knowledge of HRIS, specifically Paycom, preferred.
  • An outgoing personality must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and the ability to respond to common inquiries in a fast-paced and high-volume environment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, superior interpersonal skills with an acute sense of detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Focused on delivering results and providing superior customer service.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources or related professional area.
  • Strong hospitality experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • College degree in Human Resources, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or similar studies preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The Training Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of Training & Engagement with the development, implementation, and evaluation of:
  • Workforce Development Programs
  • Supervisory & Management Skills
  • Leadership Development Programs
  • Performance Programs
  • Implements, delivers, and manages learning programs aligned with Fontainebleau’s values and cultural elements.
  • Supports the effective management of Learning Administration to include but not limited to: planning, scheduling, managing attendance, program announcements, etc.
  • Manages course completion requirements, including reporting and completion audits.
  • Manages the Execution and Facilitation of Team Member Orientation and Annual Orientation.
  • Enhances learning programs as necessary, to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment or organizational strategy.
  • Partners with the Director of Training & Engagement and subject matter experts to build relevant and effective learning programs.
  • Supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of all career planning, upward mobility, succession planning programs & initiatives.
  • Partners with the Director of Training & Engagement to identify learning and performance improvement needs through effective planning and execution of job/needs analysis and performance appraisals.
  • Supports the development of department trainers bench strength ensuring effectiveness of department training.
  • Supports the ongoing development and management of new Team Members and key learning partners.
  • Supports the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation of Department Training planning, execution, and effectiveness.
