About The Position

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Treasury Solutions Implementation Specialist to join our team! This position will lead end‑to-end service implementation for commercial clients adopting treasury services. This role scopes requirements, builds and manages implementation plans, configures services and entitlements, coordinates cross‑functional resources, and delivers client training to ensure timely, compliant service enablement and smooth handoff to support. As part of this role you will: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring a clear, organized, and confidence‑building experience. Review TM applications/agreements and required documentation; confirm services, limits, approvals, and controls. Orchestrate onboarding tasks across stakeholders providing communication and status updates as required. Configure and validate setups such as: Commercial Online Banking (Q2) entitlements and roles, ACH origination profiles/limits, wire agreements/controls (incl FX), RDC deployment and user access, Positive Pay and reconciliation settings, account analysis setups, sweeps, SFTP, Lockbox and Integrated Payables/Receivables, Cash Vault/Smart Safe, and bill pay. Execute quality checks, assist with client UAT if needed, and ensure service delivery in line with client expectations. Deliver engaging training for administrators and end users; provide reference materials, recordings, and “day‑1” quick guides. Complete a structured handoff to support with final configuration, contact roles, and known nuances captured.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • A minimum of two (2) years in treasury management, treasury operations, or a closely related commercial banking role.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information systems, or related field.
  • Experience with treasury implementations or project management.
