About The Position

St. Michael’s Catholic Prep seeks a full-time, on-campus Sciences teacher for grades 9-12. We are searching for a dynamic, innovative educator in the field of Science at the high school level, including Honors or AP courses. Candidates should believe in students and their ability to grow and develop, and must demonstrate ability and deep commitment to meeting the needs of diverse student learners. Candidates should show a commitment to collaboration and professional development.

Requirements

Exceptional organization, classroom management, time management and prioritization skills
Must have a Bachelor’s degree with prior years of experience, and an advanced degree is preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication (written and verbal)

Teaching 4-5 sections of science
Leading an advisory
Participating in on-going community service projects and retreats with students and fellow teachers
Opportunity to design and teach winter term mini courses
