Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of veterinary practice operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory control Recruit, hire, train, and supervise office staff; conduct performance evaluations and address employee concerns Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including DEA/Controlled Substances and OSHA regulations Oversee financial operations, including payroll, budgeting, and vendor relationships Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper use of veterinary terminology Provide excellent customer service, addressing pet owners' questions and resolving complaints promptly Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient patient care and emergency response Implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and engage with the local veterinary community Manage inventory, including controlled drugs, to maintain adequate stock levels and cost-effectiveness Perform other duties as assigned by veterinary regional manager Qualifications Qualifications: Experienced or Certified Veterinary Practice Manager with a minimum of 1-year management experience preferred or 3+ years veterinary experience preferred Saturday rotation is required knowledgeable in veterinary medicine terminology and how to run a veterinary hospital Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator Highly organized and possess computer skills Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset Open availability with flexibility to change hours based on hospital’s needs Additional Information Pay Range: $70-75k depending on experience.
