About The Position

VCA Animal Care Center of Mt. Juliet is looking to add a Veterinary Technician to our leadership team as a Technician Supervisor. Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10 hour shifts with rotating Saturdays. Compensation: Pay range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to: Implementing policies and procedures. Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings. Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs. Interviewing, training and mentoring new and existing staff. Delivering employee performance feedback. Monitoring day-to-day activities and engaging with support staff. Maintain and troubleshoot surgical and anesthesia equipment to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Requirements

Advanced experience in surgery and anesthesia, including surgical preparation, monitoring, recovery, and maintaining sterile technique
Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and support veterinary technicians and assistants, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused team environment

Responsibilities
