The VP, GPCC Marketing leads the strategic marketing direction and execution for the Synchrony Mastercard credit card portfolio, driving initiatives that accelerate acquisition, deepen loyalty, and increase customer engagement. This role is responsible for setting the vision and delivering measurable growth aligned with Synchrony’s business priorities. As a key marketing leader, this role collaborates cross-functionally to refine the card’s value proposition, steer innovation across product and digital experiences, and spearhead new business development efforts. In addition, the VP supervises the marketing execution and digital marketing efforts through direct oversight of the marketing team, who lead acquisition strategies (primarily Prescreens) and lifecycle marketing initiatives; and who drives digital marketing campaign implementation and optimization across channels such as SEO, SEM, social, display, and personalization. This supervisory responsibility includes providing strategic guidance, fostering collaboration across marketing functions, and ensuring alignment with overall portfolio goals.
