This role oversees all warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions while leading the modernization of operations through advanced D365 Warehouse Management System (WMS) capabilities. The position manages raw materials, components, finished goods, and purchased items; supervises warehouse personnel; and ensures accurate, efficient material flow to support manufacturing and customer fulfillment. Key responsibilities include managing physical inventory and cycle count programs, optimizing inventory accuracy, and preventing overstock or obsolescence. The role directs receiving activities, shipping preparation and carrier coordination, and material kitting and delivery to production cells. It prepares and verifies requisitions, maintains accurate stock records, and supports operational decision‑making through reporting and variance analysis. In parallel, the role leads the transition from paper-based processes to mobile, real-time D365 WMS execution. This includes configuring system‑directed picking paths, automated replenishment logic, ABC classifications, threshold-triggered cycle counting, and optimized warehouse slotting. The position uses D365 data and Power BI to identify systemic issues, drive continuous improvement, and enhance working capital performance. The role also collaborates with Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure smooth material flow, compliance with FSC requirements, and alignment with company initiatives such as safety, 5S, cost reduction, and process improvement. Supervisory responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and fostering a high‑engagement, high‑accuracy warehouse culture.
