About The Position

Functions include putting received freight into appropriate storage locations, replenish bins, pick items for transfer to the Retail Store and pulling select items from storage location and readying them for shipment. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Unpacks and verifies bar codes are usable. Directs bar code label printing and application as required for inventory control. Verifies quantities and checks for damage or mislabeling. Operates motorized equipment, such as order picker, reach truck or forklifts to stock the items. Transfers items from the receiving bins to the primary and overstock bins. Utilizes handheld scanners for put-away functions to update inventory records. Lists all overages and shortages on the Receiving Discrepancy report. Conducts and documents bin audits as required. Ensures all received items are correctly put away within established timelines. Receives the items for the sales orders and enters the orders into system for sales order or wave picking for efficient picking purposes and locates the products using technology. Packs items on sales orders using company packing guidelines. Completes warehouse product resets by established plan. Utilizes RF scanners for picking all items and transfers all items from the stocking bins to the shipping bin. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma, Home School Certificate, or GED equivalent needed
• Use of forklift trucks & order picker experience needed
• Will certify
• Should possess ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
• Should be detail-oriented, focused, driven, and a self-starter
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills needed
• Must be a teamwork-oriented member with a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

• Any further education/experience in the warehousing area preferred
