The Warranty Associate is responsible for administering warranty claims for Bennington Marine products, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant resolution of dealer and customer issues. This role serves as a key liaison between dealers, internal departments, and suppliers to uphold Bennington’s commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and brand excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field desired, or equivalent qualification or a combination of job-related education
  • 2+ years’ experience in lean manufacturing preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals, results-oriented, self-driven, attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication within team and cross-functionally
  • Highly organized and effective in managing multiple priorities and deadlines, strong time management skills
  • Effective negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and track schedule adherence
  • Safety and quality focused in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Emotional Intelligence

  • Ability to be exposed to a manufacturing environment for periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and resolve warranty claims submitted by dealers or customers in accordance with policy and procedure
  • Verify warranty coverage, parts eligibility, and documentation accuracy
  • Communicate professionally with dealers, service centers, customers, and internal teams regarding claim status, required documentation, and resolution outcomes
  • Authorize repairs, replacements, or goodwill adjustments within approved authority levels
  • Identify recurring issues and trends; provide feedback and reporting to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support warranty audits and ensure compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with warranty-related training, documentation updates, and dealer communications as needed
  • Uphold the Company’s standards for customer satisfaction, professionalism, and responsiveness
  • Ensures warranty is coded accurately
  • Exercise sound judgment on coverage activities
