Servco is looking for a Warranty Specialist to process distributor warranty claims, ensure compliance with manufacturer and Servco Platinum Protection service contracts. This role supports dealers with claims procedures and serves as a liaison between dealers and our manufacturers to ensure accurate, timely submission of required documentation and evidence. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of automotive administrative experience, of which at least one year involved automotive warranty processing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Typing 50 wpm
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Reviews vehicle manufacturer, auto service contract, and after-market accessory claims for approval or rejection
  • Compiles, reviews, and submits required supporting documentation and evidence to manufacturers to substantiate warranty claims and reimbursements
  • Corresponds with dealers to provide assistance with dealer claims processing
  • Processes customer reimbursement requests, ensuring proper documentation, eligibility verification, and timely payment
  • Assists with information references and resources, and communicates policies and procedures
  • Keeps abreast of all warranty policies, warranty claims procedures, and warranty claims systems
  • Assists with reference manual updates
  • Reviews reports for trends in errors and assists in creating a reference table to improve efficiency/accuracy of claims submitted by dealers
  • Updates and inputs required parts prices for claims processing
  • Updates and inputs repair program data
  • Creates and transmits EDI batch for manufacturer’s claims
  • Assists the Warranty Manager with training new associates and addressing day-to-day questions.
