About The Position

Weller Truck Parts, the premier re‑manufacturer of Commercial Vehicle Drivetrain components, is accepting applications for a Western Regional Sales Manager. This high‑level leadership role supports and directs a team of Territory Managers across the Western U.S., developing profitable sales growth and ensuring strategic alignment between regional sales activity and branch operations. This position also oversees regional sales meetings, product training, and developmental initiatives aimed at strengthening team capability and market performance. Purpose To provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of Territory Managers across the Western region, driving profitable sales growth of Weller Truck Parts products, components, and accessories. This role ensures cohesive alignment between sales efforts and branch support functions. The Western Regional Sales Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing regional sales meetings, product trainings, and development events to enhance overall market performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in the heavy‑duty trucking industry.
  • Prior experience managing a team of 10 or more members.
  • Ability and desire to travel 50%–75% by air, with additional road travel as needed.
  • Strong oral, written, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with modern technology tools including CRM, CMS, Microsoft Office, Teams, etc.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Leads and develops a 10-person sales team, providing training, professional development, and performance management.
  • Maximizes sales in each territory through coaching Territory Managers and engaging in executive‑level customer relationships.
  • Assists in sales analysis, policy creation, promotional strategy, and execution of all corporate sales initiatives.
  • Supports Territory Managers in maintaining strong customer relationships and executing marketing promotions.
  • Analyzes territory performance, key markets, and major accounts to foster new sales growth and expand existing business.
  • Reviews market analysis, customer needs, volume potential, pricing schedules, and discount structures.
  • Oversees and controls Territory Manager expenditures to align with budget expectations.
  • Plans and coordinates regional and branch sales meetings.
  • Serves as liaison regarding Territory Manager boundaries and territory strategy.
  • Works with Territory Managers to gather and deliver competitive intelligence to appropriate internal departments.
  • Performs additional related responsibilities as required.
