About The Position

The Americas Aftermarket Master Scheduler and SVC Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the master production and fulfillment schedule to ensure aftermarket customer orders are delivered on time, and in full across multiple sites. This role serves as the central coordinator between fulfillment, operations, supply chain, engineering, and procurement to balance capacity, materials, and delivery commitments. The Master Planner and Scheduler ensures accurate planning, drives schedule attainment, and supports continuous improvement across the production and supply chain processes.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of aftermarket planning, fulfillment channels, and make‑to‑order/make‑to‑stock environments.
  • Knowledge of supplier management, purchasing, and materials flow specific to aftermarket components.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred), inventory planning, and lead‑time management.
  • Working knowledge of LEAN principles and continuous improvement in a service/aftermarket setting.
  • Ability to analyze demand, supplier readiness, and capacity to determine the best fulfillment route.
  • Skilled in identifying schedule risks, material constraints, and recovery options.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with Buyers, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Excel and planning tools to manage schedules, KPIs, and vendor performance data.
  • Ability to balance urgent aftermarket demand with capacity and material limitations.
  • Ability manage multiple fulfillment paths (internal plants, vendors, service centers, warehouses).
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high‑mix, short‑lead‑time environment.
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive alignment on delivery commitments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field required.
  • 5 years of planning and scheduling experience in an ETO manufacturing environment preferred (or 5+ years of related manufacturing planning or project management experience).
  • 2 years of SAP experience with planning transactions desired.

  • SIOP experience preferred.
  • APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the rolling aftermarket fulfillment schedule to align demand with capacity and material availability.
  • Review daily aftermarket orders and determine the most efficient fulfillment route (internal manufacturing, third‑party vendors, service centers, or warehouses).
  • Coordinate with Buyers, Supplier Development, Engineering, and Operations to resolve constraints and ensure material readiness and maintain commitment to customer.
  • Drive on‑time delivery (OTD) performance through proactive scheduling, risk identification, and issue resolution.
  • Perform planning operations across multiple sites by creating and releasing work/production orders and maintaining accurate sales order and work/production order dates.
  • Maintain clear communication with Sales, Customer Service, Application Engineering, Operations, and Order Execution regarding order status, risks, and recovery plans.
  • Level‑load capacity across manufacturing sites and supplier networks; identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report KPIs, including excess and obsolete inventory (E&O), inventory turns, OTD, reduction of fulfillment time, and margin performance.
  • Conduct and lead Late Order Meeting and drive corrective actions across all assigned sites.
  • Ensure best‑practice use of ERP/MRP tools, and standardized aftermarket planning best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline scheduling, reduce lead times, and improve fulfillment efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and policies as determined by the organization.
