About The Position

The AM Restaurant Server plays an essential role in our team, entrusted with creating a welcoming and delightful dining experience for our guests throughout the day. This role goes beyond delivering food and beverages; it’s about building connections and ensuring guests feel right at home as they enjoy their meals with us. Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in customer service, ideally in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an approachable demeanor that makes guests feel welcome and valued.
  • A strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and composed.
  • Professional appearance and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Familiarity with basic computer systems, including point-of-sale software and reservation platforms.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling guest needs and operational tasks.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and contributes to the success of the service team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guests with an exceptional dining experience by serving breakfast and lunch with attentiveness and care.
  • Engage with guests in a warm, friendly manner, offering recommendations and insights to enhance their dining experience throughout the day.
  • Ensure all stations are prepared, maintained, and well-stocked throughout service, paying close attention to detail.
  • Offer beverages, including coffee, tea, and lunchtime drinks, with a focus on quality and presentation, including basic barista duties as needed.
  • Assist with guest inquiries, helping to make their stay more enjoyable by offering personalized service.
  • Work closely with your team to keep the dining area organized and ready for guests, including resetting tables and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Ensure that take-out orders are prepared with the same care and attention as in-house service.
  • Actively participate in ongoing training and development to continuously improve your service skills and align with the standards of the establishment.
  • Build rapport with guests and colleagues, always communicating with kindness and professionalism.
  • Adhere to company policies and service protocols to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all guests.

  • Seasonal Bonus Program:
  • All hourly employees are eligible for our seasonal bonus program.
  • You will receive $1 per hour worked and $1.50 per overtime hour worked.
  • Employees who terminate or resign before the season ends will not participate.
  • If the season is shortened due to business levels, you will still receive the bonus.
  • Employees in short-term contracted positions, like Lone Mountain Rangers, are also eligible.

  • In addition to your hourly rate, you will receive a ranch gratuity unique to Lone Mountain Ranch.

  • During the summer, you have free access (space permitting) to activities like horseback riding, Lone Mountain Rangers, and Yellowstone National Park tours, as well as yoga.
  • In winter, enjoy access to 50 miles of cross-country ski trails.
  • Arrival:
  • Complimentary transportation is provided to and from the airport.
  • Uniforms:
  • Free uniforms are provided for your role at the ranch.
  • Opportunity to Transition to Full-Time:
  • After working a minimum of 1560 hours over a 12-month period, you can transition to full-time status.
  • Full-time benefits include vacation and sick pay, medical insurance (with the Ranch covering 80% of premiums), and voluntary dental, vision, and life insurance (employees are responsible for 100% of the premiums for these benefits).
