About The Position

This position is responsible for washing all dishes, kitchen equipment, and food preparation equipment. They maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas including the line, BOH prep areas, storage, and walk-in. Monitors dishwashing machine to ensure proper operation, cleans and maintains dish machine and equipment. Puts dishes back in designated areas. Assists in cleaning kitchen--including cleaning counters, sweeping and mopping the floors. Ensures proper garbage and trash disposal and removal. Assists with kitchen preparation, if applicable. This position is required to report to their shift on time, using the time clock to check in and out. Manage your time including taking meal breaks in compliance with State Labor Law, keeping management informed when leaving your station.

  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time (8-12 hours)
  • Ability to move, pull, push, carry, or lift up to 50 lbs on occasion, and 30 lbs regularly
  • Ability to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hand regularly and in frequent or repetitive motion
  • Ability to reach items at varying heights
  • Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required
  • Ability to work in conditions of environmental exposure to cold, heat, and water
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
