Job Summary The Coordinator Facility Maintenance V, Coordinates and assists with Facilities activities, routine and preventative maintenance or repair projects, promotes efficient, economical, continuous and safe operation of equipment; coordinates routine projects, and projects assigned by Facilities Manager to assist in production area layouts and all facility related electrical projects.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree, or 5-10 years of similar experience
  • Journeyman’s Certification
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience and working knowledge of commercial construction. Able to read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform facility related electrical projects following NFPA 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace) guidelines.
  • Able to read electrical schematics and drawings to perform duties.
  • Assists personnel with objectives consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Ensure attendance at all mandatory training.
  • Makes daily visual inspections for electrical Safety issues, bringing attention to Facilities Manager deficiencies that need to be corrected.
  • Complete projects in a timely manner
  • Complete Safety and PPE trainings required to perform job.
  • Perform electrical and lighting repairs as needed.
  • Coordinates and supervises all production related projects with the Facility Manager.
  • May work with outside contractors for facility related projects.
  • Assists in implementing an effective preventative maintenance program for electrical equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
