About The Position

This role manages enterprise accounts Payable activities for corporate Travel & Entertainment, Procurement Card Programs as well as Accounts Payable Invoice Processing team. Responsibilities have a moderate degree of direct supplier interaction with enterprise transactional, analytical and reporting complexity in a multi-system environment. Policy and Program management includes budgeting, forecasting, period close reconciliations, compliance identification and issue resolution, forensic investigations related to policy compliance concerns, risk management, management of operations through KPI's, team productivity, etc.

Requirements

  • BS in Accounting Preferred or a combination of Finance or another Management / Business related degree with appropriate years of experience managing an Accounting or Shared Services function.
  • 7-10 Years’ experience in a Shared Services or other Finance / Accounting Organization.
  • 7-10 Years in a management role preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship development skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic enterprise role
  • Management experience in a high-demand, complex environment working for a multi-billion dollar company
  • Strong accounting skills and willingness to dig into accounting details as this is a working manager role
  • Passion and energy around driving positive change in systems and business processes in a collaborative, transparent manner
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to professionally handle conflict in a positive manner

Responsibilities

  • Managing the daily operations of an enterprise Accounts Payable team in a complex, multisystem environment
  • Leading and coaching team on simple to complex accounting and process issues
  • Developing and partnering with other leaders and Shared Services director on a strategic plan for the organization
  • Leading programs and governing policies ensuring compliance to policy
  • Developing and implementing operational KPI’s ensuring operations are in control
  • Supporting all key financial cycles and ensuring timely transactional processing
