About The Position
Temp Job Responsibilities: The Mowing Crew Member is responsible for assisting the Mowing Crew Leader in delivering high-quality lawn maintenance services for commercial and residential properties. This position supports daily mowing operations, maintains safety and equipment standards, and helps ensure properties are maintained to company quality expectations while providing professional service to customers. Job Duties: Perform commercial and residential lawn mowing services under the direction of the Crew Leader. Operate commercial lawn maintenance equipment including zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related tools. Assist in maintaining consistent mowing patterns and quality standards. Trim around trees, buildings, fences, and landscape beds. Blow off sidewalks, driveways, patios, and parking areas after mowing. Ensure properties are left clean and professional upon completion. Assist with Spring and Fall clean up jobs. Complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow crew instructions. Operate company vehicles/golf carts as needed
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate commercial lawn maintenance equipment
- The ability to walk, lift, twist, and bend for 8 hours a day
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor
- All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to a national background check
Nice To Haves
- Previous lawn care, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation of landscaping equipment is beneficial
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment and organizing trailers
- Valid driver’s license preferred
