About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Access Associate in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk location.
  • Monitor access to the facility by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or visitor information, issuing access credentials as directed, and documenting arrivals and departures according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership when needed.
  • Support front desk operations by answering questions, providing directions, receiving deliveries, and reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues through the appropriate channels.
  • Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and follow healthcare location protocols related to confidentiality, privacy, and professional interactions.
