At a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine foot and vehicle rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and document observations. You will respond to tenant and visitor concerns with outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and customer service expectations at a commercial property.
  • Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities, including contacting site management and/or public emergency services as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in required reports and logs.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, loading and delivery areas, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor and report security-related concerns such as maintenance hazards, suspicious behavior, and unauthorized access attempts, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.
