About The Position

As a Security Officer - Residential Front Desk Full-Time in Asbury Park, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents, guests, and visitors at the front desk, providing a welcoming and professional presence at the location.
  • Monitor access to the building by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Assist residents and visitors with inquiries, directions, and/or information about the premises.
  • Maintain awareness of the front desk area and promptly report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols and instructions from Allied Universal supervisors.
  • Document and communicate any incidents, unusual occurrences, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
