About The Position

The Sourcing Recruiter is responsible for identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of qualified candidates for Amazon's technical and non-technical roles. This role focuses on proactive talent sourcing strategies, market research, and creating diverse candidate pools to support Amazon's rapid growth and hiring needs.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience
  • Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing high volume as well as niche hiring
  • Experience leading or participating in technology hiring events, technology mixers, and regular attendance and participation at technology meetups and technology user groups

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies across multiple channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, Boolean searches, social media, etc.)
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles
  • Conduct market mapping and competitive intelligence research
  • Screen and qualify candidates through initial conversations
  • Maintain accurate candidate data in applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Achieve monthly sourcing metrics and SLAs
  • Promote Amazon's employer brand in candidate interactions
  • Support diversity sourcing initiatives
