About The Position

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to immediately hire to fill the role of Administrative Assistant at our Headquarters location in Warren, OH . Be the first point of contact on behalf of the Department Manager Provide administrative support to the Department Manager, such as managing schedule, answering phone calls, and preparing the Department Manager for various meetings and calls Manage organization of meetings on Microsoft Outlook calendar Manage emails/phone calls and handle/provide message and follow up Type general correspondences, memos, labels, etc. Make decisions and problem solve Handle confidential information Work independently or without supervision and within a team Communicate effectively with internal Headquarters Service Center, operations departments and field operators Research and manage projects and tasks as assigned Support team members reporting to the Department Manager Various duties as assigned by the Department Manager

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and knowledge of Window based applications
  • Ability to delegate and multi task in a timely and accurate manner
  • Possess excellent organizational, writing and communication skills
  • Team oriented personality
  • Maintain a professional, courteous and positive image at all times
  • Must be confidential and trustworthy

Responsibilities
