About The Position
Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is accepting applications for the Special Education Transportation Assistant position for the 2026 Extended School Year (ESY). The ESY will once again run to meet the mandates of any and all IEP needs and be administered from June 2, 2026 through June 29, 2026. Staff will be selected based on the enrollment and IEP needs of the students in grades Preschool and Kindergarten through 8th grade. Must be available to work every day of the assignment. DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION: OPEN TO CURRENT FUESD EMPLOYEES ONLY APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 20, 2026 - 4:00 p.m. LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 19 Instructional Days, 6/2/2026 - 6/29/2026, 5 days/week, Monday - Friday, Non Work Day 6/19/2026 WORK SITES: SpEd/Transportation, MCC, FSA, & SOS WORK SCHEDULE: 4.0 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR SUMMER PROGRAM: 6/2/2026 - 6/29/2026 SALARY: Special Education Transportation Assistant, Step 7 $26.31/hour. REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: The ESY Special Education Transportation Assistant provides needed transportation assistance to special education students and does related work as required.
